Nursery Operations and Training Manager - Full time

The successful candidate will:
Be accountable for the smooth running of and effective day to day operational management and leadership of the nurseries and training centre
Line manage and support the management team to carry out their professional responsibilities, including safeguarding.
Be responsible for the commercial aspects of the GML nurseries and training business, including all associated budgets and financial forecast.
Be a role model for staff and promote an open and transparent organisational culture and collaborative team working within GML’s Christian ethos, amongst staff, parents, children and learners.

Essential qualifications/experience:
NNEB / NVQ level 4, CACHE level 4, BTEC in childcare and education or equivalent / higher qualification
NVQ level 5 in management or equivalent/higher degree or qualification
Recognised assessor qualification
Knowledge of Ofsted standards
Relevant managerial experience within a nursery/school setting
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team
